Who is coming/invited to the ADEC Ball?
One hundred of the individuals ADEC serves have signed up to attend the Ball. Each of these individuals will be partnered with a “Buddy” from the community. The general public is also invited to purchase General Admission tickets to attend the Ball.
Why are there different priced tickets?
Ball Buddies sponsor an individual ADEC serves to go to the Ball for $50. Along with this, they agree to learn a dance, have dinner before the event and accompany their ADEC friend for the evening.
General Admission tickets are available to anyone who would like to attend the Ball. These tickets are $100 and include entry into the event, tasty small plate foods, candy bar, professional photos, video and yard games, and much much more.
Is dinner included?
Buddy tickets include a sit down dinner with your ADEC friend before the event. For general admission, there will be food and beverages at the Ball. We are excited to feature small plates including a salad wall, ramen noodle station, and much more. There is also a self serve candy bar.
Can children attend?
Yes, they can come on a General Admission ticket. This is a family friendly event.
How dressy is this shindig?
This is a fairly formal event. Dress clothes are appropriate. Our ladies will be in formal wear, our guys in dress clothes. We never say no to glitter and sparkles. Tuxes are not required.
Do I need to bring extra money?
There will be a cash bar and a silent auction. Auction items will need to be paid for that evening. We will take cash, checks and credit cards. Each ticket has a bid number that will be used for any auction bids. Food, games, candy bar, etc. are all included in your ticket price.
What time is this event?
The Ball begins at 6:30 p.m. and will conclude at 9 p.m.
I want to help but I don’t want to go to the Ball / I can’t attend the Ball.
You’re in luck! At 5:30 p.m. on April 20 at the Northern Indiana Event Center a fleet of limos will be driving up with very excited Ball participants. They will walk the “red carpet” and pose for pictures. Every red carpet event needs fans who will cheer and celebrate their arrival. We need a lot of volunteers who are willing to come and cheer! Bring signs and your best celebration voices. Come as you are and help us welcome our ADEC friends to the Ball of their dreams!

Are you raffling off an Airstream that night?
No, ADEC’s Airstream Raffle drawing officially ends on April 13. The winner of the Airstream will be offered complimentary tickets to the Ball and will be able to pick up their prize on April 21 or make arrangements with ADEC to pick it up.
