An evening of art and conversation! Come meet new CEO, Chris Kingsley, while enjoying light refreshments including charcuterie, wine, and other refreshments. The night will be filled with conversations, ADEC updates, and an opportunity to make art with your neighbors with disabilities and local artist Amanda Wagner.

The night will start with an introduction and update from our CEO and will carry on as a free flowing, open door event. Get a chance to meet Chris and hear first hand where ADEC’s focus is for this year. Guest artist Amanda Wagner will present several self-guided art stations where conversations can be had and friendships made with your neighbors with disabilities and ADEC’s executive team/board.

Overall, ADEC wants to thank you for being such a large part of why 70 years was possible and celebrate what’s to come!

Meet our guest artist:

Amanda Wagner is a Goshen resident who lives with her 2 children and husband. Amanda graduated from IUSB in 2009 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. She also has connections with ADEC as she worked there for 4 years from 2009 – 2013. During her time at ADEC she was a Direct Service Professional, an Art Instructor, and a Case Manager. Once her special needs daughter was born in 2013 she left full-time work to care for her children. Since then, Amanda started her own art studio called Young at Art based in Goshen. She has served kiddos from 2 years old to teenagers as well as some adult classes for 8 years out of her studio. She has a passion for art and connecting with people. She enjoys making art approachable and fun for those who may be hesitant to try. Amanda says “It’s about the process of creating rather than looking for a finished result.” She is also very connected with the local community, having served on non-profits boards and by volunteering as a support for the many Goshen art opportunities.

Please RSVP by emailing you and your plus one’s name to [email protected] no later than April 13th, 2023. We hope you can join us!
