DAY SERVICES
The goal of ADEC Day Services is to help the individuals we serve attain a sense of purpose by making every day a productive, fulfilling day.
Programming
ADEC strongly believes that intentional day programming can dramatically change the lives of the adults we serve at our Day Service sites. To foster independence and develop a fulfilling daily schedule, ADEC provides a home and community bases setting from 8 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday – Friday. Daily activity choices include
- Gardening
- Ceramics
- Painting
- Sewing
- Baking
- Technology
- Team and individual sports
- Volunteering at various community organizations
Our support staff takes time to discover the natural abilities and interests of the people we serve, and then challenges them to work at developing skills related to their abilities and interests.
All five ADEC day service facilities and the Hub offer and support informed choice for both facility habilitation and community habilitation.

Help someone follow their passion.
ADEC’s Day Services are spread across five locations in Elkhart and St. Joseph counties, making it more convenient for those families living in other parts of the communities we serve. Additionally, it enables us to work toward our goal of assisting people with disabilities in becoming full participants in community life.
Your donation can help offer more choices and greater possibilities for the individuals ADEC serves at its Day Service locations to follow their passions through vocational activities and to develop their personal skills and abilities further.
