Senior Program Manager of Supervised Group Living:
The Senior Program Manager position is located in Elkhart County and involves local travel daily. The Senior Program Manager will oversee the compliance of state surveys, complete outcome measurements, oversee new staff training schedules, resolve staff concerns, and serve as on-call backup. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Social work or a related field, and at least five years’ experience as a QIDP. MSW preferred. Strong supervisory and exceptional customer services skills required, as well as the ability to successfully implement crisis management and resolution, and write effective behavior support plan with positive approaches. Communications & Brand Specialist – Internal Relations:
Communications & Brand Specialists are responsible for managing ADEC’s brand and creating communication that supports that brand. The communications specialist uses written communication internally to further ADEC’s mission by creating our bi-weekly newsletter, researching new grant opportunities, and helping to write the grant applications with Program Managers and Directors. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred. Two to three years of experience in communications is required. Group Home Manager:
Coordinate the day-to-day activities of a group home for persons with developmental disabilities to ensure active treatment and increased independence for all residents in compliance with state and federal guidelines. Provide day-to-day supervision of all group home staff assigned to provide daily assistance to group home residents. Bachelor’s degree in a human services field or three years related work experience. One year of supervisory experience preferred. Consideration will be given to applicants who have excellent skills in communication, interpersonal relationships and organization. Assist with maintenance, construction, and grounds keeping duties to provide safe, functional and attractive buildings and grounds in addition to minor vehicle repairs and serving as substitute driver as needed. Must have CDL or be willing to obtain CDL with ADEC’s support. Basic knowledge and experience in related fields such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry and landscaping required. Hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday. Pay will be $13 to $13.50, based on experience. Direct Support Professionals, DSPs, fulfill ADEC’s mission of helping clients live lives full of choice, possibility and respect on a daily basis. DSPs have the privilege to positively impact the lives of others by assisting with daily living, helping clients reach individual goals, and involving clients in the community. As a DSP at ADEC, you work in a home setting developing relationships with clients to help them grow and achieve their dreams such as running in the Chicago Marathon, attending a Notre Dame football game, or becoming an artist, all dreams ADEC DSPs made possible. No experience or certification required. Positions start at $10 for Day Services and $10.50/hour for Residential, retention bonus totaling $600 in the first year, annual increases, and performance incentives available.
