Looking for a rewarding career? You just found it.

DEC employs nearly 400 people and operates 21 locations in Elkhart and St. Joseph counties.

The vast majority of #teamADEC work as direct support professionals, who directly assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. DSPs help the people we serve accomplish their dreams, discover their true potential and lead lives full of choice and possibility. Some DSPs work with the individuals we serve in ADEC group homes or supported living settings, while other DSPs provide vocational and recreational opportunities at our five day service locations.

Other essential positions round out #teamADEC, from music therapists to employment consultants.

Our team consists of students, parents, and retirees. Some came with many years of experience, some came with none at all. All came with the goal of making a difference in someone’s life and in their community.
