Director of Day Services:
The Director of Day Services is responsible for the overall organizing, implementing, and directing of daily operations for Day Services. The Director oversees supervision, training, development and evaluation of all staff assigned to Day Services. Responsibilities also include developing outcome measurements and the budget for Day Services. Bachelor’s degree required in special education, education, or social sciences with a minimum of four years’ experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Senior Program Manager of Supervised Group Living:
The Senior Program Manager position is located in Elkhart County and involves local travel daily. The Senior Program Manager will oversee the compliance of state surveys, complete outcome measurements, oversee new staff training schedules, resolve staff concerns, and serve as on-call backup. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Social work or a related field, and at least five years’ experience as a QIDP. MSW preferred. Strong supervisory and exceptional customer services skills required, as well as the ability to successfully implement crisis management and resolution, and write effective behavior support plan with positive approaches. LPN – St. Joseph County:
The staff nurse is responsible to the Health Services Coordinator for monitoring the health care needs for Community Living clients, counseling and training staff, and assuring compliance with Medicaid regulations. Monitor all medical facets of group homes, meet and consult with the Interdisciplinary Team and other health professionals, and perform Quarterly Physical Assessments. LPN with an Indiana license required and experience with individuals with developmental disabilities in residential services is preferred. Valid driver’s license and auto insurance required. The Guardianship Advocate is responsible to provide required guardianship and personal advocacy services to all persons enrolled in ADEC’s Guardianship Program. This includes making decisions about consumer’s residence, provision of education, health and general welfare, consent to medical treatment, marriage and other business affairs. BSW degree preferred. Five year’s related experience with proven leadership and decision making will be considered in lieu of degree. Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and good driving record required. Direct Support Professionals, DSPs, fulfill ADEC’s mission of helping clients live lives full of choice, possibility and respect on a daily basis. DSPs have the privilege to positively impact the lives of others by assisting with daily living, helping clients reach individual goals, and involving clients in the community. As a DSP at ADEC, you work in a home setting developing relationships with clients to help them grow and achieve their dreams such as running in the Chicago Marathon, attending a Notre Dame football game, or becoming an artist, all dreams ADEC DSPs made possible. No experience or certification required. Positions start at $10.00 for Day Services and $10.50/hour for Residential, retention bonus totaling $600 in the first year, annual increases, and performance incentives available.
