Director of Supervised Group Living:
The Director of Supervised Group Living position is located in Elkhart County and involves local travel daily. The Director of Supervised Group Living will oversee the compliance of state surveys, complete outcome measurements, oversee new staff training schedules, resolve staff concerns, and serve as on-call backup. The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field, and at least five years’ experience as a QIDP. MSW preferred. Strong supervisory and exceptional customer services skills required, as well as the ability to successfully implement crisis management and resolution, and write effective behavior support plan with positive approaches. The Registered Nurse is responsible for monitoring the health care needs for residential consumers, counseling and training staff, and assuring compliance with health and Medicaid regulations. Meet and consult with interdisciplinary team and other health professionals, perform and follow up on quarterly physical assessments, supervise nursing staff, and train new and existing staff. Registered Nurse with an Indiana license required. Experience with developmentally disabled individuals in a residential setting preferred. Group Leader — ADEC Industries:
Supervise the work and training of an assigned number of individuals who are participating in a work training program or are employed at an ADEC operated work site. Provide supervision, work coordination, and client support services. Contribute to profitability, quality control and customer services. High school diploma or equivalent required. The Recreation Therapist assesses each assigned client to case load, writes goals and objectives, provides weekly therapy per schedule, completes daily documentation/progress notes and writes quarterly and annual summaries for each assigned client. Develops group programs as needed and assures compliance with voluntary and mandatory standards under which ADEC operates. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation and certification by the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation required. Maintain records on staff benefits, payroll related taxes, deductions and payroll changes and handle all court ordered garnishments, interrogatories and child support orders.
