ADEC Job Categories

Direct Support Professionals (DSP) fulfill ADEC’s mission and model ADEC’s core values directly as they perform their daily work. DSPs show Dignity and Respect when they take time to listen to a client about their day. They provide Excellent Service as they ensure medications are given on time. They exemplify Dedicated Teamwork when they collaborate with their team members to create a positive home environment. They practice Faithful Stewardship when they respect the clients’ homes. Finally, they Rise to the Challenge when they find a way to make a client’s dream come true. Join ADEC’s team of DSPs and make a true difference in someone’s life. Positions available in both Elkhart and St Joseph counties for 2nd and 3rd shift. Starting pay $15 – $16, with an increase of up to $1.00 by the first year. Power Weekends start at $18.

ADEC’s Community Employment program provides services to Elkhart and St. Joseph counties, helping individuals with disabilities find and maintain employment. Employment Consultants partner with their clients to find a job that meets their needs and gives them fulfillment. They provide training and coaching to help with a successful onboarding and work experience. Starting pay $17.50/hr. Plus $300 monthly mileage stipend and company-paid oil changes. Starting pay $17.50/hr.

ADEC is adding a Behavior Consultant to its Residential team. The Behavior Consultant will work with clients, families, and ADEC team members to provide person-centered behavior management techniques to help clients overcome or manage behavior concerns. Starting pay $28-$30.
