The 2023 Wish List program has officially concluded, marking a remarkable year filled with joy and excitement! This Christmas, 140 individuals were excited to receive over 420 gifts, thanks to the generosity of our amazing elves. The participation of familiar faces, such as several ADEC staff members, local businesses, and community members, as well as newcomers to our Wish List program, is heartwarming. To those who joined for the first time, we hope this becomes a cherished holiday tradition for you.
The day program holiday Amazon wish list, financial contributions, and the efforts of Wishlist elves all made a large impact on this year’s success. Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to the numerous organizations and individuals, including ADEC staff and board members, whose consistent support makes this program possible. We would also like to thank our media and business partnerships, as well as individuals, who helped spread awareness about the Wish List program.
Wrapping over 420 gifts required plenty of wrapping paper, creativity, and sorting by Santa’s helpers at ADEC’s administration building. The success of the Wish List program was celebrated with enthusiasm as members of ADEC’s staff and board came together to ensure every present was beautifully wrapped for Christmas morning. A special mention goes to a generous community member who donated homemade Christmas bows, adding an extra touch of festivity to the gifts.
