ADEC’s Ride A Bike event will feature multiple distance bike paths, offering opportunities to riders of all experience levels!

Event Bike Loop

Surrounding the heart of the event is a paved loop approximately 0.6 miles long. At 10 a.m., all biking participants will kick off their ride from the starting line on this loop. Riders are welcome to complete as many laps as they’d like to reach their personal goals. More experienced cyclists can use the loop as a launch point before branching off onto our advanced bike paths.

9.9 Mile Bike Path

Branch off from the main event bike loop and enjoy a roughly 10-mile round-trip ride on the Maple Heart Trail, with the turnaround point at Mill Street Park. When you get back, enjoy activities, food trucks, and music as we celebrate the mission of ADEC together.

22.4 Mile Bike Path

Branch off from the main event bike loop and enjoy a roughly 20-mile round-trip ride. On this ride, you will get to enjoy the Maple Heart Trail and the beginning of the Pumpkinvine Trail, with a route turnaround just after the Rt20 underpass. When you get back, enjoy activities, food trucks, and music as we celebrate the mission of ADEC together.

30.2 Mile Bike Path

Branch off from the main event bike loop and enjoy a roughly 30-mile round-trip ride. Utilize both the Maple Heart Trail and the Pumpkinvine Trail to ride to Middlebury, with a route turnaround near Essenhaus. When you get back, enjoy activities, food trucks, and music as we celebrate the mission of ADEC together.

46.5 Mile Bike Path

Branch off from the main event bike loop and enjoy our longest bike path with a 46.5-mile round-trip ride. On this path, you will take the Maple Heart Trail to the Pumpkinvine Trail, with a route turnaround at North Park in Shipshewana! Head back to Ox Bow Park, where you can enjoy activities, food trucks, and music as we celebrate the mission of ADEC together.
