Webinar Series for HCBS Case Managers & Providers
Indiana’s Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services has contracted with The Arc of Indiana to provide a series of webinars for case managers and providers of home and community-based Medicaid Waiver services under the Family Supports Waiver and Community Integration and Habilitation (CIH) Waiver. Case managers and providers are encouraged to register for each webinar. However, webinars will be recorded and available at The Arc of Indiana Academy for viewing at a later date.
Effective Team Meetings
The Arc of Indiana will discuss how case managers can support individuals in taking charge of their own team meetings and the importance of individuals leading their own team meetings.

Restoring Hope and Possibilities for People with Disabilities
Parents are constantly told by the medical community, educators, and other professionals, “Your child will never…” The Arc of Indiana will discuss how, through their expertise and lived experience, case managers and service providers have the unique opportunity to help individuals and families see the wide array of possibilities available to help individuals lead their vision of a good life.

Conflict Resolution
Conflicts sometimes emerge between individuals and families/guardians or between individuals,
families/guardians, and other service providers. Keeping the individual’s desires front and center can
be challenging. The Arc of Indiana will discuss how to address and resolve these conflicts. We will
discuss effective communication strategies. We will also discuss how to identify resource and
supports and how to create plans that resolve the conflicts.
