Anyone attending the Michiana Maker’s Market this spring will have a wide variety of Art by ADEC items they can purchase.
On Friday, April 12 from 4-9 P.M. and Saturday, April 13 from 9 A.M.- 4 P.M., guests at CENTER Six One Five can enjoy spring weather while they browse one-of-a-kind handmade art. On both days, the Maker’s Market will offer prizes and giveaways, with free market bags going to the first 75 attendees on Friday and Saturday.
ADEC will have canvas art, shadowboxes, sewn clothing — such as bibs — jewelry, wreaths, woodwork art, greeting cards and Easter-themed decorations available for sale. There will be art from all five of ADEC’s Day Service locations on display.
Buying pieces from Art by ADEC means more than taking home an unforgettable piece of work made by ADEC individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Half of the purchase price goes directly to the artist, while the other half goes to the art program so our artists can continue creating masterpieces.
Individuals also learn how to budget their money, save for larger purchases, manage their expenses and have the freedom to use their money however they want.
When not at the Maker’s Market, Art by ADEC can be purchased at ADEC’s Bristol and Goshen locations.
