Career Day: Dreams on Display

We loved celebrating Career Day with our Skills & Training Participants and seeing all of their hard work come to life!

Over the past several weeks, participants in our Skills & Training program have dedicated their time to researching different careers, visiting different businesses, and creating thoughtful presentations about jobs they would like to pursue in the future. Their enthusiasm, curiosity, and commitment were on full display during Career Day!

For more than three hours on June 1st, community members visited the ADEC Resource Center to explore the presentations and learn about the career paths that interest the individuals we serve. From future chefs and mechanics to healthcare professionals, artists, and many careers in between, everyone was excited to share their hard work.

We are incredibly proud of our Skills & Training Participants for the effort they put into creating and presenting their projects! Events like Career Day provide a wonderful opportunity to connect the individuals we serve with the wider community while reminding us all of their potential.
