The vast majority of #teamADEC work as direct support professionals, who directly assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. DSPs help the people we serve accomplish their dreams, discover their true potential and lead lives full of choice and possibility. Some DSPs work with the individuals we serve in ADEC group homes or supported living settings, while other DSPs provide vocational and recreational opportunities at our six day service locations.

Direct Support Professional – Hiring for all shifts!

Direct Support Professionals, DSPs, fulfill ADEC’s mission of helping individuals served live lives full of choice, possibility and respect on a daily basis. DSPs have the privilege to positively impact the lives of others by assisting with daily living, helping individuals reach goals, and involving them in the community. As a DSP at ADEC, you work in a home setting developing relationships with individuals served to help them grow and achieve their dreams such as running in the Chicago Marathon, attending a Notre Dame football game, or becoming an artist, all dreams ADEC DSPs made possible.

No experience or certification required.

Positions start at $10.50 for Day Services and $11/hour for Residential with quarterly raises and annual merit increases. Both set and flexible schedules available for full and part time positions, including 20 hour, 30 hour, and 40 hour positions. HIRING FOR ALL SHIFTS!

Communication Manager – Bristol

The Communications Manager coordinates external and internal communications to ensure consist messaging of ADEC’s mission, vision and values. This includes all media outlets, all social media platforms, and other forms of external and internal communication. Manages ADEC’s website. Works with programming and ADEC departments to share ADEC’s special events, resources, and mission with community. Supervises the communication’s team and serves as member of Program Service Leadership team. The Communications Manager will have a direct reporting relationship with ADEC’s Vice President, Community Outreach. IT Specialist – Bristol

The Information Services Project Manager/Residential IT Specialist will manage IT implementation projects and provide support to the agency’s computer systems and users at ADEC Residential locations. Managing, planning, and implementing EMAR and Solona software to supportive living and group home locations, serve as primary contact for computer, and help desk support. Light traveling might be required to residential locations. Bachelor’s Degree in computer related field required with 1-3 years of experience. Music Therapist

Music Therapist is responsible for restoring or rehabilitate to improve functioning and independence, as well as reducing or eliminate the effects of illness or disability through the provision of music therapy to clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Vice President, Finance/CFO

The Vice President Finance/CFO is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the financial services and other functions assigned to the Division of Financial Services as per ADEC’s current organizational chart.  The Vice President Finance/CFO serves as the agency’s Chief Financial Officer, responsible for completion on a timely and accurate basis for all financial reports, budgets, analyses, and other related assignments. Group Home Manager/Q-tech – Goshen

Coordinate day-to-day activities of a group home for persons with developmental disabilities and provide day-to-day supervision of all assigned staff. Med Flex – Goshen

Increase the independence of persons with disabilities living in group homes by providing active treatment and personal assistance. Maintain proper inventory of medications in the home, including PRN meds and first aid kit. Schedule and run doctor appointments, including transportation for those appointments.
