The 2024 Ride-A-Bike event was a spectacular testament to our community’s spirit and dedication. With an overcast fall day, a gentle breeze, and perfect weather for outdoor activities, we gathered at Ox Bow Park for one of our community’s most cherished traditions. Families, friends, and neighbors came together to ride, play, and support ADEC’s mission, making this year’s event truly unforgettable.

The turnout from the community was incredible! The park buzzed with excitement from the opening moments to the final cheers. The bike rides were a hit, with participants cruising through the scenic trails, soaking in the cool autumn air. Yard games, food trucks, live music from Froggy 102.7, and the always popular caricature and photo ops brought smiles to everyone’s faces.

This year, we set a fundraising goal of $75,000. Thanks to the dedication of our sponsors, partners, donors, fundraisers, and participants, we didn’t just meet that goal—we surpassed it! Together, we raised $94,133, ensuring that vital programming at ADEC can continue to thrive and that individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities have access to more choices and possibilities than ever before, thanks to your significant contribution.

We are deeply grateful for the generosity and involvement of many who made this event possible. A special thank you to Froggy 102.7, THOR Industries, and Welch Packaging for their role as presenting sponsors. Your support, along with that of all who contributed, has helped make Ride-A-Bike not just a successful fundraiser but a celebration of community spirit. We couldn’t have done it without you.

Since its inception in 1972, Ride-A-Bike has been more than a fundraiser—it’s a symbol of resilience and unity. This year’s event upheld that legacy, continuing a journey that has spanned decades. After the pandemic forced a pause in 2020, we returned to Ox Bow Park with renewed energy and excitement, offering a day filled with laughter, connection, and purpose.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this year’s Ride-A-Bike event a huge success. Whether you rode, walked, volunteered, or fundraised, you contributed to a cause that makes a meaningful difference in the lives of so many.

We invite you to relive the memories from this fantastic day through the event photo gallery. Let’s keep the momentum going and continue to champion choice and possibility for all!
