The My ADEC Story series continues as Tracy Rousculp, ADEC DSP at Lutz Group Home in South Bend, shares why she loves working at ADEC.
I’ve been a DSP at ADEC for about 11 months. During this time, I also served as a team leader at the Mishawaka day program. I currently am working at a group home and am enjoying every bit of it. I look forward to assisting the clients with their needs, challenges and daily goals. It’s important to see that they always continue to grow. It helps me to grow as an individual. I can’t tell you enough about how special the clients make me feel. When I walk into their house, they are very welcoming with their smiles and hugs. They know how to make someone feel good about themselves.
There are countless opportunities at ADEC and to be a part of it is truly a blessing. Being a DSP can be very challenging sometimes and I just want to thank the awesome team I work with. You all are great!! Thanks for making me feel so welcome and for making our evenings run smoothly. We are all here to make a difference, and I believe we all do that. This is what I love about my job. Being a part of something so big and special.
