Get your party hat on and join us as we celebrate ADEC’s 65th birthday! ADEC’s Annual Celebration will take place Thursday, Oct. 27, at the Matterhorn in Elkhart.
This year, ADEC is changing up the Annual Dinner because we want to share the amazing things ADEC has accomplished over the past 65 years with our community. We’ll kick things off with a cocktail hour and cash bar, along with time to peruse the incredible art available at the silent auction.
Usha Pfifferling, an ADEC Day Services at Goshen client, will demonstrate her exceptional painting skills during this time, and her painting will be available in the auction.
“Usha is hearing impaired and she’s mostly nonverbal,” says Jessica Koscher, ADEC Chief Development Officer. “But her understanding of color is one of the most advanced I’ve ever seen. She doesn’t accept help and mixes her own vibrant colors to create beautiful paintings. I just want people to see how talented she is and how much fun it is to watch her paint.”
Usha does make painting an unforgettable experience. Her joy over creating art bubbles over as she paints with laughter, grand hand motions and a big smile.
ADEC’s Annual Celebration will also feature a look back on 65 years of choice and possibility. 65 years of prioritizing the people we serve and supporting them as they accomplished incredible dreams of success, as well as suffered the great heart breaks of life.
As we take the time to look back on this lifetime of service, we can’t help but peer into the future and wonder what great things await us. And we want you to help us dream ADEC’s future too. By coming to this event, you’ll have the opportunity lend your voice and your vision.
Tickets cost $20 or $150 for a table of eight and cover the cost of a meal. The tickets will be mailed after reservation is received and must be presented to enter ADEC’s Annual Celebration. To purchase a ticket now, click here.
