As 2022 drew to a close, everyone at ADEC was able to look back proudly on a year of accomplishment and progress. We continued to provide exemplary services, guardianship, residences, support, transportation, employment coaching and so much more to well over 1,000 clients, and employ over 300 of the best staff possible, all while expanding our availability throughout two counties.
And now we’ve stepped confidently into January 2023 with a new CEO at the helm and looking forward to other exciting developments and opportunities. The biggest recent news is the reignition of ADEC’s Silver Bullets basketball team! You can read more about that on their page on our website, or listen to our January podcast for more info, as host Emily Krabill interviews one of our most enthusiastic players.
We’ve also begun participating in Goshen’s First Friday’s monthly events. You can find us every month at 114 E. Lincoln Ave, less than a block from the courthouse, in the historic Shoots building. At this week’s I LOVE Goshen Event, we’ll have a fun Valentines photo backdrop, as well as supplies to make your own Valentine’s cards and crafts. Gaining Grounds will have specialty coffee for sale, and Art by ADEC will feature art pieces and cards that fit the theme, available for purchase. We have everything you could need for the perfect Valentine’s gift!
More than anything, ADEC is grateful for your continued support and the support of our communities. As always, we have the strongest foundation on which to continue to build, the greatest staff, and we get to serve some of the most incredible people in our community. And we continue to strive to be the gold standard in providing opportunities to individuals with disabilities in Northern Indiana.
