At ADEC, we believe everyone should have presents to open on Christmas Day. Sadly, some of the 1,200 individuals we serve don’t have friends or family to buy them gifts. That’s where you can help!
ADEC is seeking some Wish List Elves. You can give magic to an individual with a disability served by ADEC to make sure they have a merry Christmas.
More than 100 people are on the list this year, and we want to pair them with members of the community to help deliver cheer. There are a few different ways you can help.
You can select a person directly from our list and see the three items they’ve asked for for Christmas. You may choose to buy for several people, but please only choose for those whom you intend to buy all listed items.
You can also choose to purchase for one of our five Day Services (in Bristol, Elkhart, Goshen, Middlebury, and Mishawaka) or our After-School Club in Elkhart. Each program has listed gifts that would make the season — and the entire year! — bright for all of the individuals we serve at those locations.
If you’re too stressed to think about shopping, you can give a cash donation and we’ll spend it on our clients for you!
If you’re part of an organization or a group, we can help structure a giving plan for you and your employees based on your goals.
To get started with the Wish List, simply complete the online form and a list of items will be emailed to you. Wrapped donations must be delivered by noon Friday, Dec. 13, to the ADEC administration building at 19670 S.R. 120 in Bristol. As many of the individuals we serve still believe in Santa Claus, we as that you fill in his name next to “From” on any gift tags. You can find the form at adecinc.com/wishlist.
