[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]You can’t make an omelet without breaking a few eggs, and you can’t build a coffeehouse without breaking ground.

If you’ve noticed that the electronic sign in front of ADEC’s Bristol location has been off and there’s a huge pile of dirt, it’s because we’re preparing for a lot of changes. ADEC will be adding a Gaining Grounds coffeehouse to its Bristol office.

“We have a wonderful construction team, led by DJ Construction, fantastic architecture and plans by Cripe Design, and the vision and passion of the ADEC team,” said Donna Belusar, CEO of ADEC. “This is an exciting step in our mission to provide choice and possibility to those we serve, to our employees and to our community.”

The new facility will include a Gaining Grounds shop — a community coffeehouse employed by individuals ADEC serves with intellectual and developmental disabilities — as well as outdoor patio seating, an Art by ADEC store and event spaces. Construction will continue through the summer at the Bristol office at 19670 S.R. 120. More information on the new ADEC Gaining Grounds Center will be released in the coming weeks.

“We will soon see the vision of our new ADEC Gaining Grounds Center come to life,” Belusar said. “This facility is going to have a positive, lasting impact on the individuals we serve as well as our community.”[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_images_carousel images=”3822,3823,3824,3825,3826,3827,3828,3829,3830,3831″ img_size=”large”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
