Supervised Group Living.
At each of ADEC’s 15 group homes, residents work on building independent living skills with around-the-clock care. Clients and staff work together to prepare meals and enjoy a family-style spread each night. For many of the people ADEC serves, moving into a group home is a chance to sprout wings and establish a life of their own independent from mom and dad — just like their siblings.
Supported Living.
ADEC’s supported living program makes it possible for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to experience independence in their daily lives. Each person’s care is tailored to their needs, whether it’s one hour of service a week or 24/7 staff support.
The greatest goal of ADEC’s supported living program is to assist each individual in realizing their dreams and enjoying their community. Staff provide support in areas ranging from financial management and nutrition to transportation and coordination of medical care.
