ADEC Summer Camp is here for you all summer long:

ADEC is proud to provide one of the only full-summer camps in the Michiana area that serves individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Programming runs from June – August from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday with the exception of Independence Day. Summer camp takes place at the Elkhart CAPS building located at 1000 W. Hively Ave., Elkhart, IN.

Summer Camp serves individuals age 6-22 and is staffed with a 4:1 client to staff ratio of direct support professionals who are specifically trained to meet the needs of each client.

Campers will have the option to express themselves through fun activities, games, or arts and crafts, all while maintaining the interpersonal skills developed during the school year. Additional activities include outdoor recreation, field trips, puzzles, games, and so much more. From talent shows to mini golf, there is never a boring day at camp!

Summer Camp is only one of the programs offered by ADEC that provides early intervention and therapeutic services to young children and their families. Without ADEC’s after-school and summer programs, many families would have a difficult time balancing work and care. We’re here for you.

If you would like to learn more about ADEC’s Summer Camp, you can reach out to ADEC’s Therapies and Summer Camp Manager at [email protected] or 574-349-5096.
