ADEC Employees Receive Confirmation of COVID-19 Vaccine Eligibility

The Indiana Department of Health has submitted to ADEC its eligibility notice for the COVID-19 vaccination. Along with healthcare professionals who offer in-patient, out-patient and in-home care, Phase 1A of the vaccine installment is extended to those “regularly providing in-person direct care … to individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities in the person’s home or in a congregate setting.”

President and CEO Donna Belusar urges ADEC employees to take advantage of this opportunity to protect themselves and those they work with. “I do encourage all of you to consider the vaccine,” said Belusar. “I have already scheduled mine. Be safe, mask up, and be healthy.”

Employees should check their ADEC email for further information, along with steps on how to sign up and schedule their vaccination.
