Give the Gift of Choice & Possibility

ADEC’s giving options allow you to support the programs that are important to you so that you can make a direct impact with your gifts. At ADEC we believe in choice and possibility for the individuals we serve. We also believe in providing choices to our wonderful supporters who are passionate about our programs.

The options listed are traditionally underfunded, but they also add more joy and adventure to the lives of the people we serve. Just $60 can sponsor a day of summer camp for a child with a disability. For $50 you could provide young adults with important job readiness resources. When you give to ADEC, you are giving the gift of choice and possibility.

Angel of ADEC Fund

Sometimes when individuals with disabilities come to ADEC in need of services, they bring nothing but the clothes on their back. The Angel of ADEC fund helps individuals get established with some of the basic things most of us would take for granted, like bed sheets or a toaster. There are angels among us at ADEC. Will you be one of them?

Children & Family Services

When families are looking for answers and hope, ADEC is there. Our professional team walks alongside parents and children each step of the way — and we have fun in the process! Find out how you can support programs like summer camp for children with disabilities.

Transportation

When you purchase a transportation gift through ADEC, you are helping drive independence and dignity for the people we serve.

Skills & Training Center

Some young adults with disabilities choose to join the workforce right out of school while others choose to attend a day service. But some young adults with disabilities find themselves in an awkward gap: they have graduated or “aged out” of the public-school system, but they would still like to develop job readiness skills before pursuing their career. Give the gift of job skills training for an individual with a disability.

Day Services

ADEC strongly believes that intentional day programming can transform the lives of the adults we serve at our day service sites. Our support staff takes time to discover the natural abilities and interests of the people we serve and then challenges them to work at developing skills related to their abilities and interests. All five ADEC day service facilities and the Hub offer and support informed choice for both facility habilitation and community habilitation.
